Installing a custom-fit seat cover is easier than most people think. No tools required, no seat removal — everything is done in approximately 30 minutes. This guide shows you step by step how it's done.
What You Need
- Your new Baminger seat cover
- 30 minutes of your time
- That's it — no tools required!
Step 1: Preparation (2 minutes)
Slide the seat all the way back and set the backrest upright. Remove the headrest (simply pull it straight up — some models have a small release button on the side).
Step 2: Fitting the Backrest (10 minutes)
Always start with the backrest:
- Slip the cover over the top edge of the backrest
- Pull it down evenly
- Hook the fastening straps under the seat or secure with Velcro
- Make sure the airbag seam is in the correct position (if applicable)
Step 3: Fitting the Seat Cushion (10 minutes)
- Pull the cover over the front edge of the seat cushion
- Work it down evenly on both sides
- Secure the fastening straps under the seat
- Make sure the cover sits without wrinkles
Step 4: Headrest and Final Touches (8 minutes)
- Fit the headrest cover (if separate)
- Reinsert the headrest
- Smooth out all wrinkles
- Adjust the seat to the desired position and check

Avoiding Common Mistakes
- Do not tug on the fabric — pull gently and evenly
- Mind the airbag seam — it must sit in exactly the right position
- Don't forget the headrest — some models have separate headrest covers
- Check both sides — the cover should sit symmetrically
